So after some discussions over that beer release beer… and more at home. We decided to EXPAND the wine cellar. I have a craft room- that I never use. It’s too cold and I will make up every other excuse. If I really want to use my sewing (and embroidery) machine I have carried it upstairs and set up shop on the dining table for the day.
So… goodby craft room. All my stuff got moved to a corner of the laundry room except for one rack that we’ll move later. We almost triple the wine room space and then the workshop space gets some added footage too. Made sense all around.

Of course this meant that we didn’t have enough paint and should have gotten GALLONs vs the quarts so we’ll spend more overall money And time on paint in the long run unless I can find something creative and use the leftover paint on the stairs. So alas clearly about the BEER as things weren’t as well planned as they could have been- but hey. Got his release beer. Lmao
Misa took the wall down fairly promptly! And over the course of the week we were able to get that section of floor scrapped. The ceiling and ‘beam’ still needed repairs but we figured the fake hubby could do that while I was painting.
By ‘beam’ I mean we left up the header where the wall used to be as we decided to try to make it look like a wood beam and then I can put a saying or something artsy on it. Preview of the beam after a little more work evening it out…but before we pressure wash the floor. You can still see my ribbon on the wall in the background.
Another week and another piece of our project is taking shape. More then Just RUNt, is gonna love it!
