Next thing you know I was able to log a nice slow and easy 5 miles. The long runs I really prefer outside, but as you can tell Mother Nature had other ideas so every other week I am stuck inside on the treadmill. At least I get to see outside while having breakfast!

This last weekend I am up to 7 miles. A little sore today- mostly in my ankles, and just feeling a little stiff, but everything seems to be going pretty well so far. Running outside is definitely easier than inside for me, when it cooperates! But changing strides outside for the ice a few weeks ago- man! My hips took a beating!

The fake hubby and I also participated in a 5k the other week. By participated I mean we ate breakfast and drank tea (me) and coffee (he) while watching runners go past the house. Even saw a dog with his plaid sweater getting his 5k groove on!
