I make a cheese cake for my mommy each year for Mother’s Day and her birthday. While tomorrow is the parrrrtay. I will be running the Strider half tomorrow while my other half helps man a water station. After which we will be heading north…
Making the cheese cake today- I am not sure what happened but OMG I lost my hair!! Just kidding obviously but it was a fun picture to take and send to my mom.

After opening a bottle of Mama Mia red blend – I began to bake. The recipe has been around my family for quite some time, and while it’s not that hard to make- it is time consuming! One hour and fifteen minutes to bake, then sit in the still warm oven for an hour, then let it sit out a bit to cool until you are tired and it’s time for bed- then shove it in the fridge… π
